QUEEN VICTORIA in Lisbon

Images of QUEEN VICTORIA arriving Lisbon very early in the morning of 23 July 2009 in very poor light. I wish the weather was as good as last week when QM2 did her call...
QV is berthed at Alcântara - the usual place for Cunarders in Lisbon - and sails at 5.00 PM

After the loss of QE2 it is nice to see another Cunard ship in Lisbon again...

QUEEN VICTORIA DAMAGED in MALTA

The QUEEN VICTORIA photographed in Valletta, Malta, by Darrin Zammit Lupi following her troubled maiden arrival at Malta on 14 May when she hit the quay at the stern while going alongside the cruise terminal.
The Cunarder had to stay overnight for repairs and did not call at La Goulette today as planned.

CUNARD FESTIVAL in Southampton

On 22nd April 2008 the three Cunard QUEENS in active service met at Southampton for the first time.
While the QE2 was doing her final refit prior to delivery to Dubai in November, the QM2 was sailing for New York while the newest fleet member QUEEN VICTORIA was about to sail on a cruise.
In the end it was the perfect setting for a public relations action...
And the ships are really beautiful in traditional Cunard livery...
There will be three QUEENS again in 2010 when the new QUEEN ELIZABETH enters service...
