Seis navios de cruzeiros no Tejo a 22 de Agosto
O porto de Lisboa apresenta cais cheios de navios de cruzeiros amanhã, dia 22 de Agosto de 2012: em Alcântara vai atracar o INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS, o maior de todos com 336 metros de comprimento e 4000 passageiros. Em Santa Apolónia e Jardim do Tabaco está já atracado o SILVER CLOUD, que chegou esta manhã e larga amanhã pelo meio-dia, o AIDAAURA, o BALMORAL e o RYNDAM, enquanto na Rocha atraca de tarde o SEVEN SEAS MARINER, que só sai a 23. No total estarão em Lisboa mais de 8.000 passageiros. Quem quiser mais navios, pode sempre acrescentar à lista o FUNCHAL, na Matinha, e os cacilheiros, que são a versão fluvial do nosso fado de alma e coração marinheiro...

HOLLAND AMERICA back in home waters
Holland America cruise ships RYNDAM and ROTTERDAM leaving their "home port" of Rotterdam on 26 June 2011 on a nostalgic photography by Hans Hoffmann.
ROTTERDAM was departing on the transatlantic round voyage to New York comemorative to the 40 years of the final Holand America season on the Roterdam - New York regular passenger service then maintained with the NIEUW AMSTERDAM of 1938.
It was anounced recently that ROTTERDAM will be based in Roterdam year-round as of the Fall of 2012. The ship will operate a series of unique cruises geared specially to the Dutch cruise market now totalling 76.000 pax, but seen as with great potential for a steady growth. ROTTERDAM will sal from Rotterdam on a great 90-day cruise to Indonesia, a 35-day cruise to the Caribbean including calls in Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, the Dutch Antilles isles, as well as cruises to the Atlantic islands, Iberia and the Mediterranean, very much in the same way P&O operates from Southampton.

LISBON CRUISE SEASON 2011
More than 100 cruise ships and 300 cruise calls contribute for another busy season for cruise ships in Lisbon.
On 25 April three ships shared the Santa Apolónia and Alcântara cruise terminal bringing about 6000 passengers.
RYNDAM made her maiden call and was followed by MSC ORCHESTRA homebound from Brazil and the CELEBRITY ECLIPSE. Al three ships left port at 17.00 PM allowing for some nice photographs...
