MIRCEA in Lisbon 2008-08-27

The beautiful Romanian Navy sail training ship MIRCEA arriving in Lisbon at 10 AM on 27 August 2008 for a 4-day visit.
The MIRCEA is the fourth of the five famous Blohm & Voss GORCH FOCK-class sailing barkes and was delivered in March 1939 to the Romanian Navy.
The MIRCEA departs from Lisbon on Saturday 30 August. (News published in 2008)

MIRCEA no Tejo 2008-08-27

O Navio-escola MIRCEA entrou hoje em Lisboa, cerca das 10h00, para uma visita de rotina, e está atracado em Santa Apolónia até ao próximo Sábado, 30 de Agosto.
Construído em Hamburgo no estaleiro Blohm & Voss segundo os planos do GORCH FOCK de 1933, o MIRCEA arma em barca de 3 mastros, sendo muito semelhante ao nosso Navio-escola SAGRES. Foi entregue à Marinha da Roménia em Março de 1939.
