CLELIA II in Lisbon



The Greek owned cruise ship CLELIA II called in Lisbon, on 1 to 3 June 2009 and berthed at the Alcântara passenger ship terminal, with departure at 7PM. CLELIA II is cruising under charter to Travel Dynamics and her former Bahamas registry was transferred to Malta in 2008. She was built in 1990 at La Spezia, Italy, for Renaissance Cruises as RENAISSANCE FOUR a name she old on until sold in 1996 to the Helios Group. CLELIA II is operated by Lindos Maritime, Pireus, and is owned by Goodwin Sands Marine, Ltd., Liberia. Photo taken on 3 June 2009 in the river Tagus, Lisbon.

CLELIA II em Lisboa



Fez escala em Lisboa, de 1 a 3 de Junho de 2009 o navio de cruzeiros CLELIA II, que permaneceu atracado ao cais de Alcântara largando pelas 19 horas. O CLELIA II está afretado pela Travel Dynamics e navega desde 2008 com bandeira de Malta. O navio foi construído em 1990 em La Spezia, Itália, para a Renaissance Cruises, designando-se RENAISSANCE FOUR até 1996, quando foi adquirido por interesses gregos associados ao Grupo Helios. O navio é operado pela companhia Lindos Maritime, do Pireu, e pertence à companhia liberiana Goodwin Sands Marine, Ltd. Embora este navio já tenha visitado Lisboa anteriormente, quer com o nome original, quer com o actual, a APL assinala na lista de movimento de navios de passageiros esta escala como sendo a inaugural. QUESTÕES DE ESCALA




Ontem, 1 de Junho de 2009, era este o aspecto do Terminal de Cruzeiros de Alcântara, ocupado por dois pequenos navios de cruzeiros tipo iate, ao contrário dos gigantes habituais. O SEADREAM I largou para Portimão e o Mediterrâneo após duas semanas em reparação na NAVALROCHA e o CLELIA II chegou a meio do dia para uma estadia que se prolonga até à tarde de 3 de Junho.
Yesterday, June 1, instead of the large cruise ships that usuly dock at Alcântara, the Terminal was occupied by two small yacht-like ships: the SEADREAM I, about to depart after a 14-day refit in the NAVALROCHA yard, Lisbon, and the CLELIA II, one of the original four sisters built for Renaissance in Italy. CLELIA II sails tomorrow after a three-day stay.
