CRUISE SHIP SPOTTING

I have been photographing passenger liners and cruise ships regularly since 1975, but my first forays into shipping photography were in 1970 with a B&W 120 film. The camera was far from good and only a few of those early negatives actually depict proper ships, like the CCN liner IMPÉRIO of 1948. I remember on one of those early occasions to photograph the HANSEATIC (ex- Shalom) and the LEONARDO DA VINCI in the river Tagus, with the poorest results... I am still using my

cameras whenever I can, and here they are several passenger ships photographed in 2006...
