MSC ORCHESTRA MAIDEN CRUISE IN LISBON






The brand new cruise ship MSC ORCHESTRA visited Lisbon on 20 May 2007 on her inaugural cruise. The MSC ORCHESTRA is a sistership to the MSC MUSICA and she has been just delivered at Saint Nazaire by Aker Yards and is now the ninth ship in the MSC Cruises fleet.
The 92.409 GT cruise ship has 1275 pax cabins and can accomodate up to 3013 passengers. She was christened on 14 May and will be based in Venice for a series of 7-day cruises to Istambul starting June 2nd. Two further sisters are being built in France, the MSC POESIA and the MSC MAGNIFICA, due to be delivered in March 2008 and in 2010. Two larger ships are also on order at the same yard, the 133.500 MSC FANTASIA and MSC SPLENDIDA set to be delivered by 2008 and 2009.
