The N/T FUNCHAL when new

The Portuguese passenger liner FUNCHAL was built in Denmark in 1960-61 and introduced by Empresa Insulana de Navegação on the Atlantic Islands mail and passenger service from Lisbon on 4th November 1961.
The posted photograph was taken in the sixties in Funchal, Madeira Island, and the N/T FUNCHAL is just arriving and going alongside the Pontinha pier.
She was particularly handsome in her original classic livery... Forty six years later she is still doing strong cruising the world. (The N/T note means Navio a Turbinas, turbine steamship.)
