Today the SHIPS & THE SEA BLOG counter reached the 200,000 page views mark since its start in March 2006. It has been a pleasure to be able to share my maritime interests with a growing number of people from all corners of our world. Today the average number of single visitors is 319 per day while the average page number is 757 per day.
A very special thank you for all visitors, and in special those who have been here regularly and do comment, and even contact us sending photos, ordering books, etc...
Unfortunately the blog world is not different from what we have around us in terms of human particulars, and there have been some abuses with the download of photographs and its unfair use, by people who feels too much enthusiastic about my photos (and that in part is a compliment), just like one German enthusiast who seems to be selling my photos of ex-German Lisbon Ferries in the net without my permission, and even corporate companies, as we have detected some of our material printed and used by companies without our permission. Please note all are welcome here but we can not accept this kind of situations. If for some reason someone needs to use anything published here, please contact.
