MATSONIA seen from the ORSOVA

Another candid ship photograph by Michael Sutcliffe. The Matson Line MATSONIA seen from the decks of Orient Line's ORSOVA.
The MATSONIA keept the Matson service until about 1970 and was renamed LURLINE (IV) in 1963 when her sister was sold to Chandris and renamed ELLINIS. MATSONIA later joined the Chandris fleet in 1971 as BRITANIS.
