SOVEREIGN NEW PULLMANTUR flagship

Pullmantur Cruises, the Spanish subsidiary of the Royal Caribbean International group, has just received another ship from mother company Royal Caribbean: the SOVEREIGN ex-SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, renamed in the Bahamas (Freeport) and registered in Malta.
The SOVEREIGN now shows the Pullmantur red funnel introduced earlier this year and the ship is being positioned to Santos for a season of Brazilian cruises starting 13 December 2008.
On her return to Europe, next Spring, the SOVEREIGN will be based in Barcelona operating 7-day cruises replacing the veteran OCEANIC which is going to be based in Valencia next year for a series of 3 and 4 day Mediterranean cruises. Photos and informations kindly sent by Captain Amadeu Albuquerque, master of the SOVEREIGN.

  1. Esse navio pertenceu à Royal Caribbean.
Talvez até seja mesmo o antigo SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS.
Trabalhei nessa companhia durante uns anos e tive o prazer de fotografar muitos navios pelo mundo inteiro.
Gostaria inclusive de partilhar com todos muitas das minhas fotos de navios caso esteja interessado.
    Abraço.
