FUNCHAL laid up at Trafaria


The Portuguese cruise ship FUNCHAL returned to the Tagus river on 20 October 2009 for lay up and repairs after a short period of lay up at Portimão, Algarve where she arrived on 9 October.
FUNCHAL ended her program of summer cruises out of Lisbon on 5 October and sailed for Algarve on 8 October. Now she is back and will berth at the grain bulk terminal of SILOPOR at Trafaria, a fishing village on the South bank of the river Tagus in front of Lisbon. Following SOLAS 2010 related refiting work she returne to cruise service on 26 March 2010 from Lisbon.
