Two images of the Portuguese classic cruise ship FUNCHAL showing her timeless beauty although she has been considerably rebuilt at the stern area. Photographs taken off Lisbon on 10 September 2006 with the ship leaving for another cruise from Lisbon to Morroco and the Canary islands.
Constructed in Denmark in 1961 for the old Empresa Insulana de Navegação, the FUNCHAL is the only survivor of the once proud fleet of Portuguese passenger ships that numberes 26 ships vessels forty years ago...Photos by Luis Miguel Correia - 2006
