The new Norwegian cruise ship FRAM called in Lisbon on her positioning cruise from her Italian builders bound for Norway on the afternoon of 4th May 2007. The ship was designed to cruise in Greenland in the summer months and in Antarctica in the winter. 
Built by Fincantieri at their Monfalcone yard, the FRAM embarked her first passengers at Barcelona on 30 April and visited Lisbon soon after.
We were able to visit the FRAM and enjoyed very much her fine interiors and decks. A fine modern cruise ship with many classic appointments onboard in the very best Norwegian cruise tradition.
