The former Portuguese mini liner PONTA DELGADA built in Lisbon in 1961 for Empresa Insulana de Navegação is being broken up at the Poço do Bispo wharf, Lisbon since December 2007. The PONTA DELGADA arrived Lisbon at the end of her final voyage in December 1988 and after a long lay up period associated to the failure of owners COMTRAMAR, sunk at her berth in June 2001.
