Relativamente à lista de paquetes de Agosto de 1969, além do FUNCHAL, ainda flutua um outro navio de passageiros que há 40 anos fez escala em Lisboa. Quem diz o nome e já agora a designação actual também?
Concerning the 40 passenger ships listed below, further to the FUNCHAL there is another liner still afloat 40 years later. Can you name her and give the actual name?

Trata-se do paquete AUGUSTUS, que é utilizado agora em Manila como hotel flutuante com o nome M/S PHILIPPINES :)
ReplyDeleteDesta lista, outro sobrevivente foi o QUEEN ANNA MARIA, que infelizmente está agora a acabar os seus dias em Alang após uma vida longa e bem sucedida.
Yes, the old Italia lady that paid farewell to Lisbon in January 1976 when GUGLIELMO MARCONI took over her South Atlantic liner service... The AUGUSTUS is still afloat and a credit to Italian post-war ship design.
