The refit of the P&O cruise ship ORIANA is going on at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg as can be stated by the following historic photographs depicting the addition of the duck tail to the ship's stern already in place...
This will certainly improve ORIANA's sea keeping performances but adds nothing to the ship's original elegant forms as in my humble oppinion the ORIANA was the best looking cruise ship of the 1990s.
Anyway it is good to see P&O investing in their oldest fleet member allowing for a few more years cruising out of the UK.
