Greek owned and operated under the flag of Panamá, the CAPTAIN ANDREADIS is a geared bulk carrier built in 2008, that I photographed on 14 May off Lisbon, at Mar da Palha anchoage, loading cement from the Alhandra plant (CIMPOR) for export. The cargo is towed in barges from Alhandra down the river Tagus and the cargo operations are provided by the Portuguese company ETE using their floating cranes VIGOROSA and PODEROSA. CAPTAIN ANDREADIS main data: IMO No. 9423504, 32.455 GT, 58.760 DW. Owners / operators are the Piraeus based concern Golden Union Shipping Company Ltd.
