The FUNCHAL looking very beautiful arriving from Tangiers on 5 April 2009 showing her new profile. The FUNCHAL was launched in Elsinore, Denmark, for Empresa Insulana in 1961 and is one of the oldest cruise ships still trading under her original name and flag. She is still very popular so Classic International Cruises decided to spend more money on her to make it possible to continue cruising after SOLAS 2010.
