Rebocador PONTA DO PARGO

Rebocador PONTA DO PARGO, um dos rebocadores dos portos da Madeira construídos em Espanha, fotografado no Funchal a 10 de Dezembro de 2015. Trata-se da unidade mais recente da segunda geração de rebocadores concebidos propositadamente para operação nos portos da Madeira, em 2005, e que com o CTE PASSOS GOUVEIA, de 2003, substituíram os gémeos CABO GIRÃO e PONTA DO GARAJAU de 1963.

MADEIRA TUGS & PILOT BOATS

The Ports of Madeira Authority has completely renewed their fleet of tugs with four new tugs and another one fitting out in Spain. Their two main ports in Madeira are Funchal and Caniçal. The CTE. PASSOS GOUVEIA is seen entering Funchal, while in Caniçal the PONTA DO PARGO and the ILHÉU DA CAL were photographed on 19 November 2007.
Berthed side by side with the ILHÉU DA CAL is the pilot boat CTE. CRISTIANO DE SOUA, based in Caniçal.
