The cruise ship BLACK PRINCE is doing her final calls in Lisbon this summer. Yesterday 22 July 2009 the veteran of the Fred. Olsen fleet spent the day alongside the Rocha Cruise Terminal in Lisbon, a facility she has visited regularly since October 1972.
A "victim" of new SOLAS regulations and old age, the BLACK PRINCE seems to have avoided the breakers' torch so far and has already been sold to Venezuelan interests. She still has three scheduled calls in Lisbon on 5 and 19 August and on 13 October 2009.
