VERA CRUZ - saída para Setúbal

Pouco depois de a SAGRES ter largado de Alcântara, a 5 de Outubro de 2017 a caravela VERA CRUZ deixou a Doca de Alcântara com destino a Setúbal às festas de mais uma Semana do Mar.

Que pena não ter subido o rio com o pano içado. Bartolomeu Dias teria achado estranhíssima esta nave tão veloz e com as velas recolhidas. Sinal dos nossos tempos, que as descobertas já lá vão e hoje faz-se treino de mar com todas as técnicas modernas apesar da aparência quatrocentista.
