INDEPENDENCE de saida

INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS, o maior dos 7 navios de cruzeiros que hoje - 9 de Novembro de 2009 - foi possível observar em Lisboa, fotografado à saída. Para além deste gigante VLCS, fizeram escala no Tejo os navios ZENITH e WIND SURF. Além da chegada do ARION, de referir outros 3 navios de cruzeiros em escala técnica: FUNCHAL, PRINCESS DANAE e SEABOURN SPIRIT.

INDEPENDENCE of the Seas in Lisbon

Cruise ship INDEPENDENCE of the SEAS departing Lisbon on 18 October 2009 on a cruise from Southampton to the Atlantic Isles and Iberia, previous port was Lanzarote and she was bound for Vigo.
Please note the small boats are not operated by Somaly pirates as it may look. Just local fishermen from Trafaria on a Sunday evening in the river Tagus...

Lisbon busy waterfront 2009-07-29

BIG & SMALL

The Portuguese Navy corvete NRP JACINTO CANDIDO, the second of the six JOÃO COUTINHO-class ships built in 1970 in Hamburg by Blohm & Voss and the largest cruise ship in the world, the INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS, delivered this year to Royal Caribbean Cruises as their present flagship.
