BOUDICCA IN LISBON 2009-08-22

Fred. Olsen Cruise Line's BOUDICCA visited Lisbon again on 22 August 2009 and berthed at the Alcântara cruise terminal. She is a beautiful classic passenger cruise ship. More photos here and also here.

BOUDICCA IN LISBON 2007-11-12

The BOUDICCA leaving Lisbon in the afternoon of 12 November 2007. A beautiful ship in a beautiful setting: my city of Lisbon has been full of light and specially nice to photograph the cruise ships departing in the afternoon...

BOUDICCA IN LISBON 2007-06-01

The Fred Olsen cruise ship BOUDICCA visited Lisbon on 2007-06-01 again and I was able to register some more images of her taken on her departure from the Rocha Cruise Terminal. Originally built in Helsinki by Wartsila for the Royal Viking Line (the second of three sisters) as the ROYAL VIKING SKY, she is now sailing under her seventh name and joined her older sister ship BLACK WATCH ex-ROYAL VIKING STAR in 2005. Following a very extensive refit that included new main engines the BOUDICCA is now based in UK as one of the four soon to be five Fred Olsen cruise ships.

FRED. OLSEN DAY in LISBON

Two Fred. Olsen cruise ships, the BLACK PRINCE and the BOUDICCA shared the berth at the Rocha cruise terminal in Lisbon on 20 September 2006.
It is always nice to be able to photograph fleet-mates and the weather was particularly sunny.
The ships were scheduled to sail together at 6.00 PM but the BLACK PRINCE undocked first making it impossible to picture both underway. Here there are some photos.
