The 1996-built cargo ship ARROW ex-BLUARROW photographed on 13 March 2016 at Setúbal, Portugal, by Luís Miguel Correia. IMO 9128427, 7617 GT, 9412 DW tons, registered in Madeira Island international register of ships.

Tanker SIFNOS at Setubal 2009-10-11

The greek suezmax tanker Sifnos 150.875 dw tons, built 1999, seen on the Sado River off Setubal, Portugal on October 11, 2009, leaving the Lisnave shipyard following repairs.
Nice to photograph a spotless tanker in Setubal, probably one of the ports with better light for shipping photography...

ISLAND ESCAPE refiting at the m.s.LISNAVE Setubal yard

The cruise ship ISLAND ESCAPE arrived at Setubal, Portugal on 8 March for a short period of drydock and refit following a positioning crossing from Santos with a stop at Las Palmas for bunkers. I noticed some damage to her bow. She sails from Setubal on 16 March bound for Palma de Mallorca and another season of Mediterranean cruising for Island Cruises.

SETUBAL SHIPPING 30 April 2007

Setubal is a beautiful port South of Lisbon where I have spent a few hours today in the mouth of the river Sado photographing several intersting ships in and outbound, including the reefer AGULHAS STREAM (9298 GT / 1998), the box shape cargo ship DEALER (1692 GT / 1982) loading cement at the Secil terminal, and the tanker SHKOTOVO (2966 GT / 1990), leaving Setubal.
