Bridge of the former Portuguese passenger liner ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO built in Hamburg in 1955 as the ISRAEL for Zim Lines and purchased in 1966 by INSULANA. This beautiful turbine steamer operated on the Lisbon -Madeira - Azores service and did also several cruises and trooping voyages to Guinea Bissau. Withdrawn from service in October 1973 and sold for scrap in Spain in April 1974.
Her sister ZION also became Portuguese in 1966: as the AMÉLIA DE MELLO, sold in 1972 to become the ITHACA and later the DOLPHIN.
