The cruise ships season ended on 24th December in Lisbon with the inaugural call of the new Cunard cruise ship QUEEN VICTORIA and the BOUDICCA of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, while on the 23rd December the PRINCESS DANAE left Lisbon on a positioning voyage to Marseilles where she starts tomorrow a long cruise around South America geared to the French market.
2008 was a very good year for cruising related activities in Lisbon, with 256 calls and 303.000 passengers, a record number that is expected to grow to about 300 calls and 370.000 passengers in 2008. All photos taken in Lisbon by L.M.Correia.
