Back in 1975 P&O's CANBERRA was the largest passenger ship calling regularly on her multiple cruises from Southampton.
With ORIANA she seemed to be the last of her kind.
By then she was large and needed several tugs to assist her docking manoeuvres...
On the first photo another classic steam turbine passenger ship can be seen: Polish Ocean Lines' flagship STEFAN BATORY ex- MAASDAM.
