Cape Verde cargo ships photographed on 1st December 2003 at Porto Grande, St. Vincent Island. Two ships were taken alongside, the Japanese-built 13 DE JANEIRO and the BOAVISTA whose look betrays her Norwegian origins. Off the port I photographed the DILZA underway being towed from nearby CABNAVE shipyard after maintenance repairs and painting.
