WORLD RENAISSANCE in Lisbon 1987-04-08

The Greek cruise liner WORLD RENAISANCE departing from Lisbon in April 1987 on a positioning cruise from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean.
I was particularly interested in this ship and her French origins, as she was built in 1966 at Saint Nazaire for the Paquet group. My favourite Paquet ship was the ANCERVILLE of 1962, but the RENAISSANCE was also nice...
She was in Lisbon again in 2006 as GRAND VICTORIA. Have a look at the post I did at the time clicking here...

Epirotiki Funnels...

One of the more interesting cruise ship fleets of the past is certainly that of the Greek owned Epirotiki Lines.
Most of their ships were second-hand well converted handsome ships.
Over the years I was able to photograph many of them, and include herewith two funnels taken in the 1980s and asking for the original names of both ships as a trivia...
