DELPHIN VOYAGER 2009-09-20

The passenger ships OCEANIC II, BLACK WATCH and DELPHIN VOYAGER alongside Lisbon cruise terminals on 13 September 2007. The main attraction for me was the OCEANIC II, an old friend I have been photographing since her Swedish American Line days in 1975...

DELPHIN VOYAGER maiden call in Lisbon 2007-09-13

The cruise ship DELPHIN VOYAGER arrived in Lisbon on 13 September 2007 on her first ever visit. She is on charter to Delphin Cruises of Germany and replaced their previous DELPHIN RENAISSANCE.
Built in Japan in 1990 for the Japan Cruise Line as their first cruise ship ORIENT VENUS, and sold to Greek interests in 2005, she was renamed CRUISE ONE, spending about two years rebuilding in Greece upon the start of her present charter and renaming. The 21.884 GT ship is owned by First Cruise One Corporation, a company registered in the Marshall islands, and managed by Enterprises Shipping & Trading, of Athens, Greece. So, to go to the point, she is in fact a Greek ship under charter to Germans...
