Another British QUEEN

While in the U.K. on a recent trip around maritime matters and ships, I paid a memorable visit to Portsmouth and was surprised to find another British QUEEN, a small ferry operating between Portsmouth and Gosport until then totally unknown to me.
While small in terms of comparison to the Cunarders, this passenger motor ship proved to be really interesting. Built and designed in England in 1966, she really looks like a maritime Ford Anglia, with very unique points that I enjoyed a lot.
Name: GOSPORT QUEEN. Offical Number: 309139. Call sign: GUZM (GOLF, UNIFORM, ZULU, MIKE), Registry: Portsmouth. Type of Ship: Passenger Vessel, Class V. Gross. Built in 1966 by Tornycroft at Woolston, U.K. Tonnage: 159.00. Net Tonnage: 71.00. Length Overall: 30.48m. Breadth: 8.85m. Maximmum Permitted Draught: 1.5m. Service Speed: 9 knots. Max Number Passengers: 250. Number of Crew: 3. Engine plant: Twin Schottel Z-drive: 223.80kW. More informations here and here.
