LUSITANIA EXPRESSO 22-02-1989

Comprado em Outubro de 1988 pela COMTRAMAR - Companhia de Transportes Marítimos, o ferry LUSITANIA EXPRESSO foi o primeiro navio de passageiros tipo Roll-on/Roll-off a integrar a Marinha de Comércio portuguesa. A fotografia que apresentamos data de 22 de Fevereiro de 1989, vendo-se o navio em experiências de mar, no Tejo, após uma reparação efectuada pela Lisnave no estaleiro da Rocha.

Ferry LUSITANIA EXPRESSO

Ferry de passageiros LUSITANIA EXPRESSO em manobra na Doca de Alcântara em 1990. Adquirido na Escandinávia em Outubro de 1988 pela COMTRAMAR - Companhia de Transportes Marítimos, foi utilizado na carreira Faro-Tanger, entre a Madeira e o Porto Santo, em África e inclusivé numa célebre viagem a Timor com estudantes portugueses.
