FERRY PARA A ATLÂNTICO LINE

Prossegue a bom ritmo nos Estaleiros Navais de Viana do Castelo a construção do primeiro de dois navios de passageiros Ro-Ro destinados à empresa Atlântico Line, para cabotagem inter-ilhas nos Açores.
O primeiro bloco foi assente na doca de construção a 14 de Novembro último e neste momento estão instalados cerca de 50 por cento dos blocos, com a flutuação do casco programada para o final de Fevereiro. Não foi divulgado ainda o nome deste novo navio de passageiros português.

ATLÂNTICO LINE FERRY

The building of the first of two new passenger Ro-Ro ferries ordered by Atlântico Line for the Inter Islands Azores service is underway at the building dock of the Viana do Castelo Yards. The first block was laid in the dock on 14th November 2007 and about fifty per cent of the blocks are already in place. The floating of the hull (yard nº. 258) is scheduled for late February. No name was announced yet for the new ship.
