CUNARD FESTIVAL in Southampton

On 22nd April 2008 the three Cunard QUEENS in active service met at Southampton for the first time.
While the QE2 was doing her final refit prior to delivery to Dubai in November, the QM2 was sailing for New York while the newest fleet member QUEEN VICTORIA was about to sail on a cruise.
In the end it was the perfect setting for a public relations action...
And the ships are really beautiful in traditional Cunard livery...
There will be three QUEENS again in 2010 when the new QUEEN ELIZABETH enters service...

I told the good folks who follow all things Cunard at http://z3.invisionfree.com/CunardCritic/index.php about your marvelous "CUNARD FESTIVAL in Southampton" photos. They loved them. And one observed that it was actually the 22nd, not the 23rd.

Paul,

So nice to hear from you again. How is Sebastian? Still enjoying cruising in grand style?

Another friend who was actually on board one of the Cunarders had already called my attention to the correct date. Many thanks and glad you like my ships...

Sebastian is fine, but alas he had to stay home when we enjoyed a Caribbean cruise on the QM2 in January. We're hoping to do another transatlantic round trip next year so that he can join us again.
