O fabuloso e rápido navio alemão Cap Arcona era o mais famoso dos transatlânticos a singrar os dois lados do Oceano Atlântico na rota para o Brasil e o Prata. Além de frequentar o Porto de Lisboa fundeava na Baía do Funchal, nas viagens transatlânticas.
O meu pai depois de viver largos meses na Hungria, onde casou com a minha mãe em Budapeste, embarcaram em Hamburgo neste navio no dia 21 de Fevereiro de 1939.
E...cá estou eu!!!
