Dear Mr. Luis Miguel Correia

I am a voluntary case worker for a non-profit organisation called Netdetektiverne (you can read about us We offer free help to people trying to get in contact with friends or family members with whom they have lost contact with or never met. We always ask the person whom we have found for permission, before information is provided to the person who seeks him or her.
I am writing to you because I have found your e-mail address and webpages on the internet and I can read that you have great knowledge abot ships. I can also see here that you know the ship Rio Lima which I am searching information about.
I am trying to help a young Danish lady to find her Portuguese father or any possible information about him. I hope that you maybe have time to give us an advice or two if possible? Or maybe you know someone who can help us further?
The father José born in 1959 in Portugal, worked on the fishing ship "Rio Lima" from Lisbon. The ship came from Portugal to the Greenlandic village called "Fiskenæsset" and in Greenland they call it "Qeqertarsuatsiaat". The vessel arrived to Greenland in May / June 1983 and returned to Portugal again in September 1983.
What I then please would like to ask you about is:
Do you know where or how I can find information about this ship? Fx an IMO number to begin with.
I am interested in finding an employee lists for 1983, log book, the name of the captain in 1983 and of course proof that it is the right ship that was in Greenland in 1983, people who has worked there or know something about the ship etc.
I hope to hear from you, even if you are unable to help in this matter. If you regard this e-mail as a nuisance to you, then I apologise in advance. This is not a spam mail.
Thanking you in advance for your time.
