CLASSIC SAGAs

The SAGA ROSE and her fleetmate SAGA RUBY are also extremely interesting classic ships. Built in 1965 and 1973 for the Norwegian America Line, they belonged to Cunard for a long time and have both joined another owner more recently, the Saga Group.
I was very happy to fly to Madeira in January in order to photograph them together. They will be together again in Lisbon next January 4th, and once more in Madeira on January 11th... In their present form the Saga livery fits very well to their original classic lines. And I have always enjoyed yellow funnels....
