The cruise ship MARCO POLO had her funnel repainted in the livery of new charterers TRANSOCEAN, of Bremen, alongside Lisbon on 11th April 2008, as seen on the first photo.The second photo shows the funnel of the ASSEDO ex-SHOTA RUSTAVELI as photographed in Lisbon on 2nd July 2003.
Neither funnel looks like it was as built, but there have been more changes on the MARCO POLO...

Tenho uma cassete de"Classic Liners"volume2,onde entre outros estah este belo paquete a manobrar no Porto de Southampton com todos os promenores desde a tomada do Piloto do Porto as manobras com os rebocadores a atracagem e no fim o icar da bandeira da antiga URSS na popa.Entao com as suas cores originais era um navio bastante elegante o SHOTA.Espero que o irmao MARCO POLO tenha muitos e bons anos de mar pela frente por ser um dos ultimos classicos a navegar...
