, ao visitar Leixões em viagem de Bremerhaven e Falmouth para Melilla e o Mediterrâneo num cruzeiro de 18 dias que termina a 14 de Outubro em Veneza. I wish she were Portuguese instead.... She's a beauty!!!...
The MAXIM GORKIY is a modernist classic beauty and she looked at her very best in original German Atlantik Lines livery when first introduced in 1969 as the German flagship HAMBURG.
At the time there were more than 20 active Portuguese passenger ships and some of them were even better than the HAMBURG / MAXIM GORKIY, like our beloved INFANTE DOM HENRIQUE or her rival running mate PRÍNCIPE PERFEITO...
But this was in the past and now the HAMBURG / MAXIM GORKIY is still with us and looking more handsome every year while all our Portuguese liners are gone...
So still have «Lil'Joe», don't we?...
