The SAGA ROSE arriving Gibraltar Eastern anchorage yesterday at 5 PM as photographed by Tony Davis from the Port of Gibraltar Authority.
She has a reduced crew of 66 on board and no news about her future have been released by former operator SAGA CRUISES. This handsome former Norwegian flagship is now very much an endangered species thanks to SOLAS 2010. She has been a safe ship all her life from 1965 and an icon of post WW2 passenger shipping design, SOLAS should prevent special extensions for such ships. If she ends in Alang soon we'll all get poorer...
A special thank you for Tony Davies sharing is photos of Gibraltar shipping here...For SAGA ROSE previous posts in this site press here.

They seem to LOVE ships there, in Alang! And their good taste is second to none: after our much-esteemed «Maxim Gorkyi», they also seem to have bought «Saga Rose»! How sweet of them!!!
