ONYX ex-FENNIA in Lisbon

ONYX photographed in Lisbon 26 February 2010 showing her hard life final times in detail. So sad to see an old passenger ship left to decay. Then it seems to be a final voyage to a breakers' yard situated in a beach somewhere in the East and then a final push full steam ahead to that beach - berth and that is the end.
This end may be close but did not happen yet. So far she has reached Lisbon on 16 February and has just moved to the Mar da Palha anchorage, what means she may stay here for a while...
She was built in 1966 as Silja Line FENNIA. The same year several other passenger ships and ferries were first introduced: EUGENIO C, PASTEUR, BLACK WATCH, scrapped already, and the BLACK PRINCE, still going on, now in Venezuela waters as OLA ESMERALDA.
