She was built in 1966 as Silja Line FENNIA. 
The same year several other passenger ships and ferries were first introduced: EUGENIO C, PASTEUR, BLACK WATCH, scrapped already, and the BLACK PRINCE, still going on, now in Venezuela waters as OLA ESMERALDA.
