FRITZ REUTER was built in Guangzhou, China in 2006 for German interests as MARUBA ZONDA and renamed FRITZ REUTER in 2007.

IMO NO. 9357872, call sign A8JE9, Port of registry, Monrovia, Liberia, owners Ftitz Reuter Schiffahrtsges, Hamburg, managers, Norddeutschr Reederei Schuldt, Hamburg. gross tonnage 18.480 GT, 23.732 DWT, 1732 TEUs capacity, 2 x 45 tons cranes, diesel engined, 20 knots service speed, keel laid 30 April 2006, launched 24 July 2006,  delivered 12 September 2006.
