Portuscale ships in Lisbon

Despite the winter-like weather felt in Lisbon on the afternoon of 29 September 2013, the port was full of ships and I could not resit going on a river cruise aboard the local classi cruise ship S PAULUS in order to photograph all ships around. The highlights of the river photographic expedition were the Portuscale passenger ships alongside the Jardim do Tabaco and Santa Apolónia quays.
LISBOA and PORTO are old friends for me. In fact I remember well both ships from her first calls in Lisbon in the mid 1970s as DAPHNE and ISTRA. In due time I was able to see and photograph DANAE's several identities and liveries until one day in August 1996 she arrived in Lisbon as the PRINCESS DANAE. In March 1999 the PORTO also arrived in the Tagus as ASTRA I following purchase by Classic International Cruises.
FUNCHAL was looking absolutely gorgeous in her new / old style livery just arrived from the Azores cruise
and about to sail to the Mediterranean the next morning in order to start her first Med cruise in three years, on 4 October from Nice.

Hello Luís,

the Mediterranean Cruises have been removed from the Portuscale Cruises page. Are they all sold out?
