The Cunard Line started her shipping activities in 1840 with the RMS BRITANNIA sailing from Liverpool for Boston on 4th July, and that old associaton to the Mersey city has just been renewed by a magnificent gala event performed by Cunard's three ships fleet in the port of Liverpool on 24, 25 and 26 May, with the three ships in port and more than one million persons attending the ships arrival.
