Despite the many large and beautiful new cruise and passenger ships built recently, the magnificent Cunard flagship QUEEN MARY 2 is unique in her beauty and design, the last true Atlantic Liner, as there are no others like her these days.
Having seen the QM2 on the river Mersey on 24 and 25 May, I could not resist but go to Calshot in Southampton water, and photograph the QUEEN MARY 2 sailing on another liner voyage to New York, on 27 May 2015. Here are some photos from thar shooting series that also included several ferries and another two Carnival UK passenger cruise ships sailing almost in tandem.
