Os CTT acabam de lançar uma nova série filatélica composta por três selos de €0,68 selos com os paquetes portugueses FUNCHAL, PRÍNCIPE PERFEITO e SANTA MARIA. Estes selos são complementados por um conjunto de três postais a preto e branco dos mesmos paquetes.
Este projecto contou com a colaboração de Luís Miguel Correia, que proporcionou imagens da sua colecção e informações biográficas e técnicas relativas aos navios.

The Portuguese Mail has just published a new series of stamps depicting the Portuguese passenger liners FUNCHAL, PRÍNCIPE PERFEITO and SANTA MARIA. Portuguese maritime author and historian Luís Miguel Correia acted as consultant and provided the images and historical and technical informations on the ships. Portuguese marine artist Fernando Lemos Gomes also provided a painting of FUNCHAL funnel in Insulana colours for the first day cover See more info here.
