Royal Mail's Pacific line

The Royal Mail Line operated for many years a joint service with Furness Withy and Holand America from North Europe to the West Coast of USA and Canada via the West Indies and Panama Canal.
One of the best Royal Mail ships operated to the North Pacific was the turbine cargo passenger liner LOCH GOWAN, depicted on the image.
