The KATARA by Bill Miller...

St Maarten is often a winter base for the world's grandest yachts, I mean mega-yachts ... in this view, dated March 2011, I caught the 408-ft long Katara moored in the harbor ... built in Germany in 2010, the $400 million craft is listed these days as being between the 10th and 13th largest yachts afloat ... the biggest at the moment is the 533-ft long Eclipse, owned by Russia's Roman Abramovich, and then followed in second place, at 2-ft shorter, by the Dubai, owned by the Sultan of Dubai ... and sure you noticed, the Katara especially has twin funnels so to resemble a great ocean liner.
The 20-knot Katara is owned by the super-rich Emir of Qatar (who owns, among other noted holdings, as much as 25% of London's real estate) ... the Katara was designed by a firm in Monaco, decorated by Italians and has, rather expectedly, sumptuously spacious quarters for up to 30 very fortunate guests ... and, just in case you might be interested, she's also available for charters.
